Position Overview 

The Director of Sales will need to lead, coach and drive sales operations. The ideal candidate will be fluent in sales methodologies and will thrive on the variety this position offers. You must be proficient at building relationships and problem solving. Strong analytical / deal structuring skills are required.

Duties include but are not limited:

  • Lead a high-performing sales team by recruiting excellent talent, retaining and rewarding existing talent, utilizing resources efficiently, and demonstrating great leadership
  • Provide coaching and sales expertise to help your team close deals
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Coach and empower Team members to make decisions that propel our company into the future with a solid decision-making framework
  • Lead daily team huddles & weekly deep dive pipeline reviews 
  • Perform regular one-on-one reviews, creating individualized personal development plans for Team members
  • Ensure that everyone is delivering an excellent customer experience at all times through responsiveness, dependability, setting of proper expectations, and caring for each customer and tailoring solutions to individual needs 
  • Manage the technology behind our customer relationship management (CRM) database to ensure functionality and evolution as CRM needs and technological opportunities arise
  • Continually seek out methods of automating recurring intake processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and customer service quality 
  • Drive execution and profitability by accelerating sales pipeline, resolving issues, and removing hurdles and objections
  • Drive and execute our global investment strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and growth projections

Ideal candidate experience:

  • A proven track record of leading a team to outperform goals
  • A solid understanding of the financial numbers corresponding to property values, acquisitions and dispositions costs, and construction costs
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving capabilities, and deep a understanding of key performance indicators
  • Ability to demonstrate organization and time management through results
  • Solid understanding of investment theory and ability to grow a sales force
  • A good attitude, high energy and persistence with team player mindset
  • Ability to step up to conflict or tough issues, can hammer out agreements and settle disputes equitably
  • A history of tackling challenges and executing on action, while displaying a good attitude in good and bad times
  • Natural ability to lead, manage, develop and drive accountability for Sales Team Members and processes

Qualifications & Knowledge Requirements:

  • 5+ years minimum experience in a Sales Management position with a proven track record of winning
  • Real Estate Experience Preferred 
  • Sales focused, highly motivated to win; results oriented
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting new talent and developing existing sales force
  • Technologically proficient with CRM systems like Podio, HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent 
  • 3 or more years living in the Nashville or surrounding area preferred, relocation package not offered.
